Our resident teen-ager enjoying a little extra food in the Lanci kitchen. The cast on his right hand is for a broken bone between the thumb and index finger; broken in a collision at first base in a baseball game. The doctor advised that most injuries of this type require surgery but Alex's youth would possibly help in the healing. At first there was no sign of healing but then, fortunately, the broken bone healed nicely.
