Work Train

Work Train on the Adirondack

On September 3, 2002, I went along with Jim McKnight, AP Photographer, on a photo mission of the Adirondack Scenic Railroad. We rode in the cab of this work train down to a gravel quarry where the two hoppers were loaded with ballast. We then traveled north and began to dump ballast. It made for a fun day!
