Black River Bridge

After breakfast at the Unicorn, Chris, Ron and I went for a walk in downtown Watertown, NY. This photo is of the bridge over the Black River.

Texas Roadhouse

Texas Roadhouse Restaurant

At the end of the day Chris guided us to a restaurant frequented by base soldiers, the Texas Roadhouse. It was a steak house that allowed you to select your steak from a showcase. Ron picked out a filet mignon. When served by our friendly waitress Ron declared it "the best filet I ever had", a testament to their excellence. We then returned Chris to Fort Drum and left him with best wishes for his service in Iraq: his unit scheduled to leave the next day.
