Since October 16, 2002.
Since March 10, 2004 the HVBS has been meeting at Roudigan's Steak House in
Kingston, NY. Our members had duly arrived at the Hoffman House rendezvous at
the proper time on that day to find the parking lot filled with contractor vehicles.
The repairs, according to the sign on the door, had taken longer than expected and
the Hoffman House Spring opening had been delayed. A hasty consultation resulted
in a recommendation by Geronimo to try the steak house in the local Ramada Inn.
We entered the premises, found it promising and were greeted by our soon-to-be
Official Waitress Jessica. HVBS had found a new home and Official Headquarters.

Upon adoption of Shadow's suggestion of a different venue, the HVBS meeting of August 23, 2006 was held at Mahoney's at Dooley's Square in Poughkeepsie. It is situated at the train station and members enjoyed the scene as well as the good welcome and good food at Mahoney's.
For our next meeting on October 4, 2006 HVBS convened back at our old haunt of the Hoffman House in Kingston. Our reception at Roudigan's had become distant, the service undistinguished and our favorite waitress had left. Our reception by hostess Ginny Bradley and her staff was warm and friendly and we have convened at the Hoffman House since.
