Shirley's Postal Cards

The 16th of February, 1970. The Clearwater postoffice specialized in dim postmarks. Perhaps the ink was too expensive or, most likely, no-one was responsible for filling the cancelling machine. In any event, these cards have been carefully "enhanced" to make the writing more visible and try to lighten the staining of the card by the rubber cement used by Pitzi Grandma to mount these cards in her scrap book.

February 11, 1973. A card from myself and Randy. These cards, having been scanned, have lost a tiny portion of one side toward the side of the scanning screen. Since I needed the side to square the cards, I decided to lose the right-hand addrress side.
