Crown Point, New York
An aerial view of the Lake Champlain Bridge and Crown Point Pier and Lighthouse, taken on a father's day flight by Randy Vogt in 2008. Under Governor Pataki, the NY State Environmental Protection Fund was committed to fix the covered pier, make it handicapped accessible and restore the lighthouse for the Lake Champlain/Hudson River Quadricentennial Celebration. Ron bid on the job for his employer DeBrino Caulking Associates. They received the contract and the following pictures are from the ongoing restoration project.

A final look at the Pier and Lighthouse construction site from the air. The Crown Point steamboat pier was constructed in 1929, serving as a point of embarkation and disembarkation for passengers accessing Crown Point from one of the many large steamboats that plied up and down Lake Champlain during that era.
